These terms govern use of the MyDoctor24 website, applications, communications, marketplaces, and connected provider workspaces operated by MYDOCTOR247 LIMITED.
Our role
MyDoctor24 provides technology for discovery, booking, communication, payments, records, and service coordination. Independent healthcare providers remain responsible for professional judgement, diagnosis, treatment, prescriptions, fulfilment, and the standard of care they provide.
Accounts and eligibility
You must provide accurate information, protect your sign-in credentials, and use the correct account type. A parent or authorised guardian may manage a dependant where legally permitted. Provider access may require identity, licence, qualification, business, or KYC verification.
User obligations
Users must act lawfully and respectfully.
- Do not impersonate another person, submit misleading medical or verification information, or misuse another person’s records.
- Do not disrupt the service, bypass access controls, scrape protected data, upload harmful content, or use the platform for fraud.
- Attend or cancel bookings responsibly, review displayed fees, and provide information reasonably needed for safe care.
Clinical and provider responsibility
Healthcare services are provided directly by independent, third-party healthcare providers. MyDoctor24 is not a healthcare fulfilment centre. Only appropriately verified providers may perform restricted clinical or fulfilment actions. Provider availability, recommendations, prescriptions, test interpretation, and treatment decisions are not controlled or guaranteed by MyDoctor24.
Bookings, collection, and provider payouts
MyDoctor24 may collect a patient payment on behalf of the provider for a specific confirmed booking. Each payment is recorded against that service. After the service is completed and reconciled, the provider amount is paid to the provider's verified bank account, normally within two business days; fraud, refund, dispute, or regulatory review may extend this to seven business days. Patients and providers do not receive stored-value wallets or transferable balances, and cannot transfer funds to another user.
Cancellations, refunds, and disputes
Cancellation eligibility, refund timing, service disputes, and payment reversals are governed by the Refund and Cancellation Policy displayed on this site. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment route or a verified bank account in the payer's name; MyDoctor24 does not issue wallet credit. Payment partners may also apply their own processing terms.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, MyDoctor24 is not liable for independent clinical decisions, inaccurate information supplied by users or providers, unavoidable service interruption, or indirect loss. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Safety and emergency limits
MyDoctor24 is not an emergency service and does not provide automated diagnosis. For severe symptoms or a life-threatening situation, contact local emergency services or attend an appropriate emergency facility immediately.
Changes, suspension, and governing law
We may update these terms when the service or law changes and will provide proportionate notice for material updates. Access may be restricted for safety, fraud, legal, or policy reasons. These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, subject to mandatory consumer rights.
