This policy protects patients, verified providers, MYDOCTOR247 LIMITED, and the wider care network from unsafe, illegal, abusive, or misleading activity.
Who and what this policy covers
This policy applies to every visitor, patient, dependant account, healthcare provider, pharmacy, laboratory, equipment vendor, home-care provider, administrator, and partner using the website, applications, messaging, consultation, marketplace, payment, or record features.
Patient and user responsibilities
Patients and other users must provide accurate information, use only accounts and records they are authorised to access, communicate respectfully, attend or cancel bookings responsibly, and follow lawful clinical or fulfilment instructions. The platform must not be used for emergencies, impersonation, false claims, harassment, discrimination, fraud, payment abuse, or access to another person's health information.
Provider verification and professional conduct
Provider access is subject to risk-based KYC and professional verification before approval.
- We collect identity and contact details, proof of address, government-issued identification, qualifications, professional licence or registration, practice or business information, and verified payout details as applicable.
- Authorised reviewers compare names and documents, check completeness, validity, expiry, signs of alteration, and the relevant professional or business register. Checks may include MDCN, PCN, MLSCN, CAC, the issuing institution, or another competent regulator.
- Only administratively approved providers may be publicly listed or perform restricted actions. Approval, rejection, expiry, changes, and complaints are audit-recorded and may trigger re-verification, suspension, or removal.
Clinical and prescribing safeguards
Providers must work only within their verified qualification, licence, scope, location, and professional duties. They must not make misleading claims, guarantee outcomes, prescribe or supply unlawfully, misuse controlled medicines, falsify notes or results, conceal conflicts, or provide care while impaired. Platform consent does not replace professional informed consent.
Marketplace and fulfilment rules
Partners must not list counterfeit, expired, recalled, stolen, unregistered, unsafe, or unlawfully supplied medicines, devices, tests, or services. Prescription-only items require a valid prescription and appropriate professional review. Stock, pricing, delivery, results, and fulfilment status must be represented accurately.
Security and platform integrity
Do not probe or bypass access controls, scrape protected information, introduce malware, automate abusive traffic, reverse engineer protected services, share credentials, exploit a vulnerability, interfere with availability, or collect personal or health information without authority. Security concerns should be reported privately through the contact page.
Payments and financial misuse
Do not use stolen payment details, submit false transfer evidence, manipulate booking or refund workflows, launder proceeds, create sham services, misuse chargebacks, or attempt user-to-user value transfers. MyDoctor24 does not provide wallets, stored balances, or peer-to-peer transfers.
Review, enforcement, and appeal
MyDoctor24 may investigate, preserve relevant records, restrict an action, pause a listing or payout, suspend an account, cancel a booking, report conduct to a provider, payment partner, regulator, or law-enforcement authority, and permanently remove access where proportionate. Affected users may contact support with evidence to request a review.
Report a concern
Report suspected unsafe care, provider impersonation, counterfeit products, fraud, privacy abuse, or policy violations to info@mydoctor24health.ng or through the contact page. For immediate danger or a medical emergency, contact the appropriate emergency service or attend a suitable facility.
Ask before you act.
